Skill Note
Name: Swift Foot Stance(NA) / Advice on widening footwork(KR)
Description: Adds 3 more hits to the skill (in KR a patch made it add only 2 more hits, although rarely 1 of the 7 hits misses), as well as making the hits 50% faster and further.
- The higher the level of the skill, the greater the difference the skill note makes.
Tips and Details
- Assault Slash knocks opponents down before the last few hits, so it's best used against Stoic/Petrified enemies.
- In PvP, it's also possible to connect all hits if the opponent is knocked off a platform with it, since the remaining hits will connect while the opponent is falling. It should also be noted that, unlike in PvE, there's no damage reduction when a knocked-down opponent gets hit, as long as the knocked-down target is still airborne, else the hits will plainly miss.
- As a thrusting attack, Assault Slash has a very narrow vertical range; even a small jump can cause it to miss.
- If used while inflicted with Frostbite, the number of hits increases to 10 (needs reconfirmation for KR after a certain patch was released) (with/without note).
- In Awakening Mode, the lunge distance is extended substantially.
